Shelby with walker

Our neighbor let Shelby borrow this walker the other day and she already loves it. I think it gives her the feeling of a lot more freedom. She still won't walk without some support but we're working towards it. Grandpa, this video is especially for you since you're not here to enjoy right now.

Shelby Walks!

Yeah, I didn't think Shelby would ever be interested in walking but she has ventured out lately as we've tried to get her to walk. She's gaining more and more confidence and even took 9 steps yesterday all by herself. However, we don't ever seem to catch the good times on video, so this is the best we have for now.

Shelby loves to sing and do fingerplays during mealtimes. We first started doing it with her so she would get distracted enough to eat but now she just starts doing it on her own, it's fun.

Shelby's New toys!

This was one of Shelby's favorite toys. She's starting to learn some of the farm animal sounds, mostly the cow right now. She says it at the very end of the clip if you can catch it!


Shelby also got a new baby doll, which was the other
of her favorite toys. She is going to be a very good mother, I can already tell. She can kiss her baby and rock-a-bye it very well.
